Compro VideoMate Vista E500F is a PCIe universal analog TV/FM capture card that provides TV watching/recording, S5 power up scheduled recording, remote controlled power on/off, video/audio capture and FM tuning function on desktop PC. With the included Microsoft Certified MPEG-2 encoder, VideoMate Vista E500F directly supports TV watching/recording in Media Center of Windows Vista Premium/Ultimate. VideoMate Vista E500F also comes with the certified Windows Media Center remote which gives users the control of Windows Media Center and ComproDTV 4.

The included ComproDTV 4 software features universal analog TV watching/ recording , channel surfing, timeshifting, single/multiple still frames capture, brightness/saturation/contrast/hue/sharpness and TV/Audio formats adjustment in each TV channel and exclusive S5(shutdown)/S4(hibernation)/S3(standby) mode power up scheduled recording. It also provides the advanced Picture In/Out Picture function which allows users to watch live TV and playback video files at the same time. The Video Desktop function lets users to stream live TV shows as wallpaper and use other applications simultaneously. ComproDTV 4 can simultaneously operate, viewing or recording, multiple Compro TV tuner devices on the same machine, internal and external.

For the best usability of Windows Vista and Windows Media Center, VideoMate Vista E500F also offers an array of convenient functions. No need to open the ComproDTV 4. ComproDTV Vista Gadget provides live TV view and schedule/playback list with a simple click on the Windows SideBar. The DTV Add-In function makes the Media Center more powerful by integrating it with DTV 4. The schedule recording list from Windows Media Center can be integrated to ComproDTV 4 for an easier schedule recording control. In addition, VideoMate Vista E500F is bundled with Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5 SE for DVD authoring.
